About Kim
Who I Am
My name is Kim Marshall, and the development of quality software products has been my passion for almost 30 years.
Sound boring? Well, it's anything but, I assure you! Creating a highly-functional, professional-quality website or database is an art as much as it is a science, and I take great pleasure in being a part of that creative process.
For as long as I can remember, my focus has been on quality. I was raised by a Dad who always preached, "Anything worth doing is worth doing well." I guess I took that lesson pretty much to heart.
Over the course of my career, my respect for quality - and the high standards I've continually set to ensure it -- have set me apart in every role I've played -- as corporate operations manager, CFO/CIO, small business entrepreneur, and particularly as a highly-impassioned software integration consultant who prides herself on developing polished, professional products.
In my experience, professionalism and quality go hand in hand — and "good enough" simply isn't...
What I DoToday through my online business Development Support Services [DSS], I offer small businesses and developers specialized services that substantially improve the outcomes of their web and database development projects. Virtually all of these services focus on improving the quality of communication between client and developer — before, during, and after the project at hand. In the process, I help to build strong, healthy relationships between these parties, relationships that ultimately support both parties' long-term success. Where I Operate |
|
Since I myself generally want to know where an online business is operating from (not sure why, really~), I respect your right to know that, too. I actually operate from 2 home bases -- one in the San Francisco Bay Area where I've lived for 25 years, and the other one in the Albany, New York area where I've recently set up shop — in my hometown, no less. My Dad also used to say, "All roads lead home." And lo and behold, once again he was right!
